Hey all you spinach ball experts,

I KNOW this is the easiest recipe in the world. HOW could I mess it up??? Well, I got distracted as I was putting it all together and I forgot to crush the stuffing mix before mixing it in. I did my best to crush the big pieces, but I know it's not the same. Then, I was so flustered by mistake that I forgot the dash of nutmeg. Agghhh!

Do you think I need to come up with plan B or will they be okay? They're in the oven as I type. . .

Well, I've only made them once. I had some of my stuffing mix that was still in large pieces, and I don't think the missing 'dash of nutmeg' will kill the recipe.

They should be fine, but you should test one, or two, or three :D :D :D before serving them to any unsuspecting guests. They might be 'so bad you couldn't possible let anyone else eat them!:D :p

Robyn-

I didn't add the nutmeg to mine and it was fine. I'm sure the breadcrumb thing will be OK too. Be sure and let me know if yours stick to the sheet. Mine did a little.

Robyn,

No worries. :) I have made them many, many times without crushing the stuffing mix. Not a big difference that I could see. And the stuffing mix and cheese add so much flavor that I'm sure you won't miss the nutmeg!

Well, they came out great, my errors notwithstanding. Thanks for the recipe, Lindrusso! I'll definitely be making these again!
