Did anyone try using regular paprika instead of the hot paprika in the Peruvian Kabobs recipe from 3/02? I can't seem to find the hot stuff and was wondering how big of a difference the taste would be. What if I just add a little chili pepper to turn up the heat?

Sorry, I haven't tried the recipe. Maybe some cayenne can work, rahter than chili pepper? Actually, I would make it with regular paprika, and then if you need some zip, you can always add to it.

Anyone else?

I have not been able to find Hot Paprika locally either. I loved this recipe - can't remember though if we added a little cayenne in or not. I'm thinking we did, but just a little (I'm on the wimpy side of the spice-heat index so it wouldn't have been much).
