I guess that means I need to start designing!
Just to summarize a long-dead thread (hey that rhymed!), I'm going to design T-Shirts for our Seattle weekend as a souveneir of our great time, great food and great friends.
Anyway, if you want a shirt, please e-mail me the following info:
Size
How many
They'll cost ya between $9-10 apeice I think. Fun!

I vote for long sleeved only because I have Popeye arms, but I'll take one either way! :D (1) each in an XL please! Are we going to pay you at the dinner or do you want checks mailed now?

I voted for long sleeved because I hardly ever wear short-sleeved shirts for very long with out mutilating them for ultimate wear (tearing off the sleeves, cutting off the collar) and I don't want to be tempted to do that to Lisa's design :)

I voted "long sleeved," and I think I can get away with a medium (I don't like shirts to fit like nighties ;) ). Thanks, Lisa! And when would you like some renumeration for said shirts? (hey, I'll have paid like, $1,000 per big word in college once all is said & done with my student loans, so I gotta use 'em, right?)

Nicely done, Mandarin2j! I keep waiting for the perfect opportunity to conversationally use megalopolis. :D
Anyway, unless the total order gets too huge, my plan is to front the costs and have everyone pay when they get their shirt in Seattle. If the bill gets huge, I may holler for some help! Thanks for understanding.
HI Lisa,
Again THANKYOU for all you are doing to make this trip special! And I get to be your roomie!:)
For some reason I can't vote (My citizenship perhaps??? This is a plot!!!:D ) When I try to vote the screen goes blank- this is happening every time I vote!:(
I would vote for long sleeves too- for all the mentioned reasons. I would like 1 Medium- should I e-mail that to you?

So with Kima's long vote we're at 5 to 6. Are the short sleeved ones out there saying "man, I hope no one else wants long sleeves!" because I know that when I came back and saw that the long sleeves were catching up, I had that thought in reverse ;) :p
It's kinda like watching those horses (fake, metal horses on a stick) at an amusment park that you shoot a water gun at a hole and the horses "gallop" along? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Can anyone else tell that I work far too many hours per day?
Long story short, I'm glad we're getting shirts either way :D

That would be great if everyone could e-mail me your order (smoody@bend.com) so that I have all the orders in one place and don't have to hunt them down. :) I hope I come up with something fun! The pressure.... :p

I also vote for long. The only time I ever wear short-sleeved T-shirts is for working out, and I hate to sweat all over Lisa's masterpiece! :)
I'll email you my order.

I voted for "short sleeve" but will go with whatever the majority decides. I will just be happy to have the custom-made souvenir of a great weekend!

Another vote for long-sleeved. I'm not a SS tee-shirt wearer, but I love LS under sweaters!
Thanks so much, Lisa. We are going to be just stylin' :)

OK, I just have to share this one idea.... because I crack my a$$ up. ;)
Spoon-fed, k-niving [conniving] women. Fork you!
:p OK, I'm probably the only one that laughed out loud at that...

The real question is, can Don voye? If he can't, then what's the point?

Don's the guy holding the gooey duck - you want a tee-shirt? You gotta ask Don, but first, you gotta get past the gooeyduck :D

Sandy,
That's voye! :p
Uh-oh, I seem to have started something here (there)—it's Wendy's fault—that, and too much time on my hands. I don't know what Julie's excuse is!:D :D :D

Julie, quit gettin' me all hot and bothered! Now where's my DH.... :p :p :p
I am getting a bit concerned about Lisa and Julie!!! Am I the third wheel???:D
And that Don- what a man!!! If you get me drift!!! Oh voye!!!:)

Main Entry: 1don
Pronunciation: 'dän
Function: transitive verb
Inflected Form(s): donned; don·ning
Etymology: Middle English, contraction of do on
Date: 14th century
1 : to put on (an article of clothing)
2 : to wrap oneself in : TAKE ON 3a
Golly gee willikers you guys!! :p I meant the above and you all go to the gutter. But that's what I like about you all!!;) ;) Susan, I wish that I had the time on my hands that you do.;)
By the way, I have an old friend named Don. I just received an email notice that he got married in the Philippines last weekend to a 12 year old - or maybe she just looks it. He is only a couple of years older than me, and usually drunk. She's gorgeous and very young, it makes him look ancient. Oh well, there's someone for everyone.
Btw: Julie's Don has a naughty look on his face. The gooey duck must bring it out in him.:p ;) :p

Now, Wendy, I didn't go in the gutter. I merely made a pun while totally understanding the intent and meaning of your "don". ;) Julie is another matter entirely!:p
Hey Susan- Admit it- you're down in the gutter with the rest of us. :D :D

This thread is too silly......
:D
Also- just to be obstinant, I was the one who voted "long sleeve" on the poll to make it an even 50/50 split over long vs. short sleeves! Ha!
I know, just had to be a b#*ch..... just for fun.
Seriously, I don't care if the sleeves are long or short. Girls just wanna have fu-uhn!

There's always one in every group. In this group I think there's about twenty :p (we're giving DHs the benefit of the doubt).
Honestly, I think we are way too silly to be let loose on an unsuspecting public!!! Not that it's going to stop us, however. :p :p :D
