Why is the <html> showing on my message and not on anyone else's? What did I do wrong?

I'm with Karen.....I need help!!!( new to the computer scene). How do you copy and, also, do you have to go back to the site everytime you want a smiley if you are going to use more than 1 in an e-mail? I appologize if this is common knowledge.

erinyyc and karen,

To copy (if you have Internet Explorer), place your cursor on the graphic; right click your mouse; go to Properties; highlight the url address; right click and "copy"; (when you copy make sure that your arrow in on the highlighted area) come to the message where you want to place the graphic; right click "paste"; now you will see the url address....before the address type and after the address type . No spaces...square brackets.

It sounds complicated, but once you go through the motions a few times...its easy. I would assume that if you use Netscape, the instructions might be similar. I hope this helps. Everyone, I can truly empathize...I was getting very exasperated last night trying to follow the directions, and for some reason, my computer was being retarded and wouldn't do it for me. This is what I did, so in case Mamasue's directions don't work for you, maybe these will.
I went directly to the URL, highlighted it, then went to the Edit box and selected cut. Opening two windows wasn't working for me, so I just used the back and foward buttons to get from the smiley site to the CL site. Then, when I wanted to insert the icon in my message, I just selected paste from the edit box.
