I made the Hoisin-Bourbon Pork last Tuesday, and saved what was left of the sauce. Thought I could maybe use it on Tuna or Chicken or whatever over the weekend. Then left town for a couple days. How long do you think that sauce is good for/???? Should I throw it out or could I use still maybe on Wednesday.?? Thanks, LaurieC

I'm not entirely familiar with the recipe - although it sounds like something I need to try. :) If the leftover sauce has any pork juices in it, I'd toss it. If it's just canned/bottled stuff mixed together, I'd give it a shot. (I'm fairly generous with lifespans in my fridge, though!)

I made the sauce, then saved half, since we only made one pork tenderloin. (Not sure, but I think the recipe calls for two?) Anyway, I used the remaining sauce five days later on salmon, no problems.

Well, it didn't touch the pork tenderloin so I think I'll try using it. Hope all goes well. Thanks for the responses. LaurieC
