Has anyone tried the sun dried tomato biscuits from the November issue? I am planning on making them tomorrow and would love any feedback. Thanks! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

I was also wanting to make them and was wondering where I would find sun-dried tomatoes in the grocery? These look yummy, let me know how they turn out.

I usually find sun-dried tomatoes (NOT the kind packed in oil in a jar) in the produce section of the store, near the tomatoes. I've even seen packages that have chopped up tomatoes rather than just halves- they cost more, but if you'd rather not chop them up, I guess it's worth it.

I made the biscuits last night with the spinach gnocchi. I thought the biscuits turned out wonderfully, even though they didn't rise as much as I expected. And they were really easy to make!

I made these tonight and thought they were very tasty. They also had a very nice texture - nice and hearty - I don't like my biscuits too fluffy!

I found some sundried tomatoes and was pleasantly surprised to find that they were quite soft - but not packed in oil - and therefore required no hot water.

Hi Wendy,

I had a cooking session on Sunday and cooked up about 4 new recipes. The funny thing is it really only took about 2 hours since each recipe was fairly simple. I go through spurts! I'm sure my husband is wondering when the long, dry, scrounge-around-and-fend-for-yourself spell is coming http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif !
