Thanks you guys :) . And happy birthday to you too, Connie. I just noticed that not only do we share the same birthday, but were born the same year :cool: .
This weekend is extra-special for me because I finished my last finals Thursday...grades will be posted Monday.
So today I went and had a facial first thing this morning. Then went to the store to get the stuff to make the Lemonade cake, which will be my cake :D . Then took the kids to see Star Wars, but it was sold out so we're going tomorrow. Not to fear! We headed over to the waterslide park which opened today and we have season passes. It wasn't nearly as crowded as we thought it might be, and the weather was great. I think it got up to 90 today :) !! Then we met DH after he was off from work and went out to dinner and to get my present. We pooled some money from my folks and inlaws and got a DVD/CD player :cool: . The boys are all busy hooking it up as I type this. Another surprise, our oldest son (the one who moved out in March) came to visit last night and then left today. It ended up to be a great day!

Don't I know it!!!! How could I ever forget that day, especially since I lived in Spokane at the time, where we got about an inch of ash dumped on us. That was my 13th birthday and we had school cancelled for about a week :cool: . Was it really 22 years :eek:....yeah, I guess it was. But anyways, for a long time after that many people had no problem remembering my birthday ;) . In fact, one of my old vendors (who has since moved to Napa) called me yesterday and left a message saying "happy birthday volcano girl!".

Thanks, everyone, for such fine birthday wishes. I'm sorry I'm so late with my response. I'm a little ashamed to say that I rarely check the "other stuff" board so I didn't know there was a birthday thread out there for me & Suze till I got a PM. I am overwhelmed by the wonderful sentiments you've all expressed. And pleasantly surprised that Suzy and I share the same date and year!
I did have a wonderful day. I drove up to northern VT to be with my family. Mom and I went into town to get perennials and seeds at the garden center and then my Dad took us all out to dinner for lobster - both a rare treat. Now I'll make sure I check the "other stuff" board more often so I can send good wishes in all of your directions when it's your special day!
