I missed the series finale last night and was wondering if anyone watched it? Can you give me the scoop?!

Thanks,
Christine

Saw it...Fiche(sp?) and Lizza get married...Ali & daughter move to NY, because daughter is having a nervous breakdown from feeling displaced, so she can reconnect with her friends. Which means Ali resigns from the firm. That's basically how it all wraps up.

I didn't see it either. I haven't followed it for the past few months at all, but I was wondering how they'd leave things. That sounds pretty lame.

I watched in between checking the BB. At the end Ally had a conversation w/ Billy, she wanted to tell him goodbye, that it was time. The wedding was something else. The pastor, would conk out whenever something emotional or funny was said. He was hooked up to some chain and such that when he nodded off, whats his name, the little guy, I just forgot. Anyways he would pull a lever and the pastor would awake and proceed on. Fish made a big deal about moving the wedding up so Ally could be there. They had it at the office, it was really different per usual. I liked the show, just sorry that it is over :(

I saw the finale. That was it in a nutshell....for Ally, it actually made sense. At least they got to actually put a little finality to the show instead of just ending it in mid-season. I've watched every show since somewhere near the end of Season 1. Yes, definitely a quirky show...but that's what made it fun. I was always guaranteed at least one good laugh in every show (usually more)...and often, all kinds of other emotions. I'm really going to miss it. As Ally told all her friends good-bye, I felt like they were all saying good-bye to all the fans.

Guest appearances: (I'll use their show-names instead of real names)
* Georgia
* Billy ("why did you summon me back?" "I guess I need to say good-bye to you too" - highly paraphrased!)
* Rene

Four dancing "babies" - all in a row dancing to the "oo-ga-chucka" song
* the original one - dressed in a NY baseball team cap and shirt
* Mayor Rudy - "it's not your time in the spotlight right now!!" - baby Rudy pouted
* Hillary - "hey, you're not even from NY!!"
* and Bill - with a dog collar and leash around his neck and being led by Hillary

It had flashbacks of LOTS of quick scenes from the five years...when Ally's former boss evidently squeezed her cheek and she quit, being hired by John, being in love with Billy, being with him when he died in the court scene, falling in love with Larry and with Victor...all kinds of good highlights.

I'll miss the show. My Monday nights are going to be BORING!!
<sigh>

Yup. It sounds like we didn't miss much. It used to be such a good show.

I'm going to miss Ally too! It was one of about 3 shows I actually make it a habit to watch (the other 2 are Sex in the City and Six Feet Under - I'm realy warped). I did think the finale was kind of lame - the stuff about her daughter was just, well, boring. I wish she would have moved to ??? to find Larry (where did he go again??). I gues they figured that would have been pretty unbelievable, since we all know he has a drug problem :D Sigh...I do wish RDJ hadn't TOTALLY screwed up his life - I really think they'd still be on the air if he were there. Oh well. I did cry at the end, but I cry at anything that is remotely emotional (commercials are fair game too). And I didn't think it was as funny as most. :( I'm looking forward to reruns - I missed the first season.
