Hey everyone, I know there are many of you who love the Master Cook software. I was recently looking on ebay and found Master Cook Cooking light Express, and Master Cook Cooking Light, with a picture of Tiramasu on the box. The Express software has a picture of Lasagne on the box.

I was wanting to get the software, but I am not sure which version of it is best. I want to get the best one. Also I would like to be able to put in my own family recipes and print them out in a cookbook format.

All suggestions greatly appreciated. Happy cooking! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

I think Express is an older version of MasterCook. I would advise getting the new one. Version 6.0 is available now and the Cooking Light version is under 30 dollars at places like Amazon. If you check DocWallet.com you may be able to find a coupon. Also, when I recently bought the CL Version 6.0 it came with a free subscription to Cooking Light Magazine!

But then again, I am sure Express will do the basic job of letting you enter your family recipes. It just depends on how many bells and whistles you care about!
Also, buying the new one will get you lots of Cooking Light recipes.

I have Master Cook Cooking Light 5.0, with a picture of a crumb cake (or similiar) on the front of the box. I love it. Don't know anything about the express but bet the 6.0 is what you saw. Go for it.

Just an FYI...version 6 is in a lime green box and has a picture of Key Lime Pie on the cover.

Good Luck, it truly is a great program.
