A friend at work was eating ministrone soup yesterday and it smelled sooooo good that I need to make it today. Now, I generally use recipes when I cook in order to limit disasters, however, I was hoping to use things in my fridge because it is so cold outside today.
The question is- What are the important ingredients that I need to include when I cook this. I noticed on the old ministrone thread that there are many recipes. are there certain things that I need to do to make this successful? Also I will be cooking this in a crock pot for most of the day, so are there things that I need to take into consideration?
Thanks for any tips.
