I pulled up an old thread from January about applesauce cakes and posted a request for a review of a cake posted by Sandy-it is not here! When I do a search on posts by me there it is-I posted about 1;30-but it is not on the Great Food board now-what is up with that?

I can see it, about 3/4 of the way down on page one. Vanessa was the original author of the thread.

OMG_I feel so stupid-it is there! I wish I could say there was some computer or BB snafu but it was me-I think I was looking at the thread starter names and looking for mine! (yes it is all about me!). very embarassed...:p And I ended up making Applesauce Bran Muffins-they look good. Still like to hear about that cake...if I can find the thread again!:o

Don't feel stupid! Twice in the last week I have posted a thread and it has literally disappeared for awhile. Then it reappears. It seems to happen when the thread is at the page break level. I log on to check for responses and it's not there. The next time I check it is back... I have a feeling that this is the same thing that has happened to you!

LOL!!:p But seriously, this weird phenomena happened to me again tonight. I had posted a review this afternoon about the Fennel-Grapefruit Salad from the June issue and I went back to check on it and it had disappeared!!! Honestly!! I had posted it from work (don't tell my boss!) so I know about what time it was posted and it was literally gone. Interestingly enough, it is back again after a page break between page 1 and 2.

Oh well, it is definately a "yawner" thread because no one has responded. Just call me "Typhoid Peggy"!!!:o

Peggy (both Peggys), I have seen similar oddities too with this board, but usually have had a couple of glasses of wine first. :p Seriously, I do know what you mean; I've seen dodgy things happen with threads on occasion.

Well I feel better (I think!).What do ya mean I haven't been the same? I am still the opinionated,humourous (?) goofball Ive always been-yes I have had a hankering for pasta,risstto and opera lately but that will pass. I think it is passing today as the Italian team lost to Mexico-but at least all the players were having a good hair day!:p :D
