Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any suggestions for a dessert that is not to hard to make? I am going to a family dinner tomorrow night and I need to bring something. But I do not have a lot of time tonight to make it. There are going to be about 10 people and I am not sure what the main course is. Any suggestions........

Thanks a lot,

Lauren

I loved that butterscotch crisp, too.

Also...here is a reply I just made to another thread requesting cake recipes:

the honey bun cake from the Cake Mix Doctor thread (http://community.cookinglight.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12798&highlight=cake+doctor) is my favorite. I posted my review of the original cake and of a lightened version I created.

there are other recipes/ideas on that thread, too.

What about the chocolate eclair icebox dessert? It's so yummy. Or one of the tiramisu recipes. They both go together really quick and everyone loves them.

These all sound good but I need to stay away from choclate and nuts :-( I think I might try the Honey Bun Cake. I checked the book out of the library to make sure I like it.

This Blueberry Pudding Cake is good and super easy to make. You would probably have to make 2 though.
