OK, so maybe this could be posted elsewhere, but I just wanted all to know what a great time Jim and I had with the newest (additional?) supper club in Austin, Tx.
The menu (to make it semi-legit on this BB) was
hummus and pita bread,
the grilled porktenderloin (on the cover of the May mag.) with 3 fruit salsa,
herbed couscous with toasted hazelnuts,
a scrumptious potato salad with garlic and herbs, and
a lively salad fulled with tasties (blue cheese, apples, toasted pecans, etc). It was finished off with the
Chocolate silk pie from the June mag.
To say that it was all tasty, would be a gross understatement. Fab, doesn't even begin to cover it.
If you have thought about "doing the supper club thing" let me encourage you. We just couldn't believe how fast the time went and were sorry that we didn't have a camera to post a picture of our new friends.
