I'm looking for a non-alcoholic drink to serve a large group of people. Something seasonal--maybe with apple cider or cranberry juice.
Anyone have any ideas? All I come up with on recipe searches is mulled cider type of recipes. I want to serve something cold. Anyone ever serve mulled cider cold?
Thanks,
Jill

here's a punch recipe, not very festive if i remember, but everyone enjoyed it...
12 oz Lemonade (frozen - don't add water)
12 oz orange juice (frozen - don't add water)
4 cups sugar
1 T vanilla
1 T almond extract
20 cups cold water
mix all of the above (now the hard part) you need to freeze the above mixture. When ready to serve place frozen mixture in a punch bowl and pour 1-2 liter bottles of 7up over it. The mixture melts as you serve it.

We've had frozen punches like that before - you can make them more festive by freezing things in it like orange or lemon slices. Maybe Cranberries or something green?
I was also thinking that spice tea is good cold too.
My favorite holiday drink - although it doesn't fit in you categoy - is hot apple cider with cinnamon schnapps in it. mmm...
I'm also thinking you could freeze the mixture in a shape - like a wreath or xmas tree, etc. Mint leaves might go well with it (or another punch) & could be something green.

I don't have a recipe for punch but an idea. Whatever punch you go with, maybe you could add ice cubes with cranberries frozen inside. If you don't want to dilute it too much when the cubes melt, perhaps freeze the cranberries in orange juice.

Thanks for the great ideas! I could probably use just about any punch recipe and add cranberries to make it look festive.
