The joke in my family is how my birthday is always a flop! I think it started 6yrs ago when we had my only grandparents funneral on my birthday. The following year was my big 30th and I was bedridden with a high-risk pregnancy. (the next day was put into the hospital) Last year I was pregnant with Amanda and was soooooooo sick. My parents gave me a All-clad cookware set and I gagged when I opened it up!
This year my parents took my son away camping. We always have big family dinners for everyones birthday. (usually I host) They had mine last night and no one could come. Typical!
But I really don't care. At 36 it's just another day! My kids birthdays are more important to me!
Amanda and I are going shopping and when my DH comes home we'll go out to dinner.
Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

( Not only does Emilylynn and I share the same birthday, she lives about 45 min. from me!)
