Has anyone ever frozen Biscotti? If so, is there any special instructions and how long are they good for?

I almost always freeze them with no trouble. I put them in a freezer bag and they last for months.

Same here, SandyDee....they freeze wonderfully. Of course I use my Foodsaver now for those baked goods that are not so fragile. In the past I have frozen all my cookies in ziplock bags (suck the air out http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif). I start my holiday baking usually in October but a little behind this year. Just started yesterday and made about 12 dozen of my italian cookies and thats not even a dent! More baking today! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

SandyDee,
I recently saw the biscotti recipes in the new issue and they look good! Let us know if you try any. I have the espresso-chocolate chip ones earmarked to try first.
P.S. How was New York?! I hope you enjoyed it. Any restaurants to recommend? http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Natasha, New York was wonderful, thanks for remembering. The play was great and my cousin was excellent in it. I knew he was tallented but was still surprised to see just how talented he is. You would kill me but I did eat at a couple of very good restaurants but couldn't tell you the names, I know exactly where they are just don't know the names. One is an Itallian restaurant right across the street from the Omni Berkshire, they made the sauces and desserts right in front of you. It was excellent. The other one is across the street from the Lincoln Center. There were 2 restaurants right next to each other (actually the 2nd one was just a bit behind the other one and had an upstairs to it). I had a pasta dish with lobster and crabmeat and vegetables in it. The pieces of lobster were huge and the dish was incredible. No help at all am I? What can I say? I was more interested in the food than the name and then after the fact thought I should have looked more closely. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/rolleyes.gif
