Fairly quick to put together and tastes okay. We prefer some of the other gratins like the White Cheddar much better than this gratin.
I think you really have to dig the flavor of celeriac to want this more than a regular potato/cheese gratin. Won't make it again.

Saved me again, Shoyski, we must have the same taste. I was going to try this one too but I hesitated because of the celeraic. I think I will keep looking, hate to waste time and food when I am just cooking for myself. Unless you think there would be a good substitution for the celeraic.

I do like the taste of celeriac and I still didn't like this gratin. I found it too dry and somewhat bland. I won't make it again, either.-

We liked this one. We thought it was a good combination. Husband took a very small helping first time, but soon it was gone and he went back for a bigger helping.
One thing about CL, it gives me the courage to try unfamiliar vegies, etc. I would have most certainly passed up this ugly vegie because I would have had no idea what to do with it.
