Help! I am getting ready for Thanksgiving and can't find one of my favorite old issues of CL. I am looking for the recipe for Spirited Cranberry Apricot Sauce that was in the November 1999 or 1998 issue. (I think it was 1999, even though the archive says 1998.) Please post this recipe if you have it because my family loves it!

Here it is...it was in Nov of 1999
I never tried this, just one of the many recipes that I miss every month http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/frown.gif
Is it very good?

1/2 cup thinly sliced dried apricots (about 3 ounces)
1/4 cup sherry or orange juice
3/4 cup water
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup honey
1 (12 ounce) package fresh or frozen cranberries

1. combine apricots and sherry in a small bowl; cover and let stand 8 hours
2. combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan; bring to boil. Add apricot mixture, honey and cranberries. Cook over meduim heat 8 minutes or until slightly thick. Spoon mixture into a bowl; cover and chill.
Yeild: 3 cups (serving size 2 tablespoons)

I made this recipe last year and thought it was very good. I love cranberries and all kinds of chutneys also.

Did everyone make it with sherry or did some try orange juice.
