Mel,
If you go and do a search (in the upper right hand corner) then type in cranberry sauce you'll find a past thread for cranberry sauce recipes from around mid Oct. Good Luck Ann

There was a thread about storing cranberries recently, and many posters said they use the recipe on the back of the bag. I don't know about other brands, but Ocean Spray cranberries have a simple, tasty recipe on the back. This is what I always use. Most of the time I toss in some grated fresh orange rind. YUM!

I have a really good one that has orange juice, orange peel and orange liqueur if you are interested, I can post it within the next couple of days.

If you like a little spike to your sauce, you might see if someone can post the cranberries diablo from the 5-star cookbook. It's terrific.
This is my favorite:
Cranberry-Pineapple Relish
1 20-oz can crushed pineapple in its own juice
2 12-oz packages cranberries
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp cloves
Drain pineapple over large measuring cup. Make sure all liquid gets out. Add enough water to the juice to make 2 cups. Place liquid in a large nonaluminum saucepan. Add cranberries and sugar. Stir over high heat until sugar dissolves and mixture come to a boil. Continue to boil until most berries burst and mixture is thick, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat. Mix in drained pineapple, walnuts, lemon juice and cloves. Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate uncovered until cold, about 2 hours. Cover.
Makes 6 cups. Can be prepared 2 weeks ahead. Keep refrigerated.
