Chicken with Summer Squash and Lemon-Chive Sauce

I did a search and didn't find a review of this recipe, I hope this is not a repeat thread. I made it tonight for dinner. It was ok. I liked it, my dh liked it ok and one son liked it. I might make it again sometime but not likely. No one really wanted me to repeat it, although we only had a small piece of the chicken left. :) I served it with steamed white rice.

I made this about two weeks ago..and I agree with you. We enjoyed it but I think I would try something different next time. I served with the brown rice (with scallions and peas).

We had this tonight and thought it was OK, but not spectacular. It's very easy to make, and the sauce was pretty good, but overall, I thought it needed something extra (maybe some Sunny Spain or Parisian seasoning from Penzey's...). It would be a good recipe to try if you had lots of squash to use up. I'd give it a 6-7/10 overall.

LOL! Same here! We thought it was "just okay", certainly edible but not a keeper.
