Review: Banana Bread Pudding (Sep. '00)

I made this last night for me & my husband, and it was really yummy! Of course, I love bananas and bread pudding, so if you're not crazy about one or both of those, this is probably not the recipe for you. I messed up a few parts--I didn't read carefully enough to notice you were supposed to layer the ingredients, and since I had already dumped everything in I just kind of stirred it up a little instead. It still turned out great, so I don't think it was that big of a deal.

This recipe did take longer than I expected--I also hadn't noticed you have to chill for 1/2 hour before baking for 50 minutes (do you get the idea that maybe I need to read my recipes more carefully??), so we didn't get to enjoy it till almost 11:00 last night. But definitely worth it--this is an easy recipe that I'm sure I'll make again!

Has anyone else tried this? I'm curious to know what other people thought.
