Make Ahead Menu Ideas?

I posted a few days ago asking for sandwich recipes for my daughter's (family and friends) birthday party as it will be from 11:00-1:00. I really latched on to the chicken and brie recipe, but have decided I want something I can make ahead of time so I can enjoy the party. I'm looking for ideas for things I can make ahead and serve buffet style. The tomato basil tart sounds wonderful, but would it be enough if I served it with salad (I know I would have to make more than one)? There will be about 12-14 adults. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Since you're pretty new around here, I'm not sure if you noticed the search mechanism on the upper right hand corner of the screen next to FAQ. I simply typed in "make ahead", clicked "check titles only" and came up with all of the above. Pretty nifty, hmm?
