A couple of weeks ago I bought a can of imported, olive oil packed tuna on a whim. Didn't know why, nor what I would do with it...and lo, Wednesday's Food section had a cover story on the wonders of quality tinned tuna. Also several very Mediterranean-inspired recipes at the end. Think I'll use my tuna for the chickpea dish....

I think this article explained for me why I always like the idea of canned tuna, but rarely the reality of it....
