December 2000 inspiration?

I just went through my issue last night, and while the cookies look great, none of the entrees really appealed to me. I rarely bake and am looking for something good for dinner. Any ideas out there in Great Food land?

Try the Pork Chops Mole! I made them last night, and they were soooooo good!

I thought this issue had lots of interesting recipes. I want to try the Veal with apple-thyme sauce, the upside-down tamale pie, the onion biscuits, Pea and Pasta soup sips,the Sonora Grilled Cheese, etc. It's funny how some issues appeal to me and others don't! It's a good thing we don't all think the same isn't it?
