Thought you all might be interested in this article from the Washington Post food section about freezing cookie dough. The recipes aren't light, but they look yummy, and the tips are good. And there's another article in the section about baking bread.

thank you for posting this.

i just made a huge batch of dough and i do not feel like being in the kitchen all afternoon making 10 dozen cookies today! so i am making 2 dozen and i wanted to freeze the rest of the dough.

this was one of the first threads to come up & thankfully the page at the washington post is still up after almost a year so i got to read it.

now off to wrapping & freezing...

frozen cookie dough is a disaster waiting to happen in my house. would not, could not, should not EVER have frozen cookie dough in my house. no way. :o

but I do see how freezing the dough is a good idea for those who have a modicum of restraint and self-control when it comes to raw cookie dough.

I am with you on that, Valchemist, particularly since I would rather eat cookie dough than baked cookies! :)
