I'm interested in starting a supper club in Birmingham, AL. I am somewhat new to the area, and would like to make some friends, have some wine, cook light, and have fun! Anyone interested?

If you've thought about it and just weren't sure... trust me, this is the time to do it. Come on! It'll be fun!

Either post here or you can email me at mcmom1@earthlink.net. I'm happy to organize the first meeting too!

Hello! I am out here! I would love to get a supper club going! My husband and I are also new to the area and would love to get out and meet people! There was another post for a Bham club from Sept, maybe we could all get together and get this thing rolling!

I think it would be great fun to get a B'ham supper club going. There are already 4 of us interested, so we could start making plans. Any ideas?

Hi Kathy, Donna and mcmom1 :D

Why don't we start by setting a time and place for our first meeting. We could do Joe Mugs or the Barnes and Noble Cafe. Maybe we could do it this month so our first club dinner cold be a holiday one. What days and times are good for you ladies? My schedule is very flexible. I look forward to hearing from you!

Weekends are usually better for me, although I could do a weeknight if that was best for everyone else. How about the weekend of the 22? That would give us some time in case other people are interested in joining. I think Joe Muggs or B&N would be great places to meet. Would the Summit location be best for everyone?

Yes, I am still interested, but I am not sure if there are enough of us. Hopefully, if we keep checking in, there will be a few more people who are interested.
