And mamasue... thank you so-oooooo much for this wonderful idea. What fun!

dcornelius....where are you....we are anxiously waiting to hear! :D

dolores.....I read your thread and so glad that you got a group of gals together to share stories, laughs and good food. Your welcome but we have to thank CL for giving us this means of communication to start our friendships. :)

Sorry, just saw this thread when I clicked on d_ferrero's name to ask her how her's went!

I had a great time! AZLorena, Harryet, and ErinM were there. My cousin Lorie joined us as well! I served the stuffed french toast from last year and was not real impressed with it, as a matter of fact I through the rest of it away. I also had a fruit salad and cranberry citrus muffins and b-b-q chicken and grape salad. I did take a couple of pictures but have to get them dveloped before i can post them but I will. I am glad I had it as I got to meet three wonderful people and maybe even found some one to go hiking with now and then (Lorena).

We chatted about the bra size thread, the different markets around here... by the way, we were driving by Wild Oats yeasterday after eating at The Big Blue Burrito and I was playing with our new cell phone not paying any attention to where we were and my DH just pulled into the parking lot saying.. " I saw the sign and knew this would be a place you would want to stop so I decide to pull in!" Isn't he sweet! We talked about our decorating ideas and oh so many other things It was SO fun!

Just wanted to pipe in and say

Ahem. I am NOT Fannybones.

Diane - I had a great time at your house! And for my 2 cents, I thought the french toast was good! I really like the cranberry muffins, and will make those sometime on my own. I also like the fruit salad. Turns out I like pineapple more than I think I do! :)

Thank you so much for having us all over! It was fun!

How nice that you got to go to Wild Oats! Now, if they would only put that Whole Foods where I want it, and not where I think it's going!!

So glad to hear that your get-together was a success. How wonderful that we have all found so many new friends throught this BB. Can't wait to see the pictures!

Hello All!!

Taking me awhile for me to check in, (hectic weekend and all) but......

I Just wanted to say "Thank you" to Diane, for opening your home to us! I had a wonderful time meeting you gals! I just wish I could have stayed longer.

I look forward to another get together!

I too look forward to another gathering in the area and getting to know you all better. Thank you for attending and sharing you morning and your stories of life with us all! Sorry the fare was not all I had wished I guess I'll know better thatn to try a new recipe out on a bunch of foodies!

Sorry I miss the get together, sounds like it was fun and the menu sounded wonderful! I was really looking forward to meeting the AZ contingent.
Hope something is planned again, soon :)

There was talk of another gathering some time but nothing solid. We will just have to wait and see....
