I would like to make an authentic noodle stir fry with hot chili sauce-does anybody have any recipes or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

How about one of these:

Pan-Fried Spicy Asian Noodles
Serving Size : 2

6 ozs firm tofu
1/4 med potato
1 tsp oil
1/4 onion -- chopped
2 clove garlic -- minced
2 pinch ginger
1/4 tsp chili paste
2 oz bean sprouts
1 1/3 c spinach -- chopped
5 ozs egg noodles -- cooked and drained
1 tsp soy sauce -- or more if needed
2 tsp ketchup

Bake the tofu at 450F for 20 minutes, and then cube. Cut the potato french fry style. Fry them in oil until cooked; remove and drain. In the same oil, fry the onions. Add garlic and ginger. Add chili paste. Stir for a short time. Add spinach and cook till any water evaporates. Stir in the bean sprouts and cook for a minute. Add the egg noodles, soy sauce, and ketchup. Stir well till the seasonings are well mixed. Finally, add the tofu and potatoes, and stir well.

Szechuan Noodles
Serving Size : 4

8 ounces angel hair pasta
2 tablespoons peanut oil
1/2 pound bbq pork; cooked -- slivered
5 cups vegetables -- finely shredded
1 cup chicken broth
1/3 cup hoisin sauce
3 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon chili paste

Use any combination of: green onions, snow peas, carrots, celery, red and yellow peppers, zucchini, etc.

Cook pasta, set aside. Heat oil in a large wok. Add pork and vegetables and stir fry until vegetables are crisp-tender, about 2 minutes. Push to sides of the wok, leaving a well in the center. Add chicken broth, hoisin sauce, tomato paste, soy sauce and chili paste. Bring to a boil and cook until thickened. Incorporate veggie/pork mixture and stir well. Add noodles and toss until well coated. This is also good as a cold salad.

I haven't made the second one yet, but I intend to, and I imagine it would also be good vegetarian style without the pork.

Cheers,
