Orlando Bound

Hello Floridians! I am coming to Orlando in December for a conference and want some suggestions for yummy, non-touristy restaurants and some cool bars. I'm staying at The Peabody and won't have a car (but that doesn't matter).

I am about the ONLY person in my industry (exposition management/meetings) that has not been to Orlando since the early 80s so I have no clue what is goin' on down there!

No, I don't plan on visiting Disney.

I haven't been since the 80's either. Isn't the Peabody where they have the famous ducks though? Maybe you can look at those if nothing else! I hope someone else has some answers for you!
