This dish (from Dec. 2000) is fantastic!The prep was pretty easy, short cooking time (good for weeknight meals) and the mole sauce was great. The chocolate added a lot of depth to the sauce. I served it over plain white rice. I made extra sauce and my fiance devoured it.

I agree this was good. I wasn't happy with the pork chops we bought as they were on the tough side, but the mole was very nice. Wish I'd read pmmahan's post and made rice to go with it - that's exactly what we said we should have made after the fact. The sun-dried tomato semolina biscuits (Nov) went very well though.

I made this tonight with white rice also. I like it and it was easy, but my husband didn't like it, he said it was too spicey. I made it with green peppers (cheaper) I will not make it again only because my husband wasn't thrilled.
