Here is a yummy recipe, always comes out great, and is easy to make. It is sort of like a chocolate chip coffee cake. It is from a Gooseberry Patch cookbook, called "Sweet and Simple". Enjoy!

BTW, please don't post a Mastercook analysis of this -- I don't want to know how fattening this is! ;) :)

Teatime Crumbcake

A delicate treat anytime during the day...this is especially good served with chamomile tea.

2 c. all-purpose four
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 t. vanilla extract
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 c. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Combine first 4 ingredients together; set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla together; add eggs, one at a time, blending well after each addition. Add in flour mixture alternately with sour cream; fold in chocolate chips. Spread into a greased 13"X9" baking pan; sprinkle with topping (recipe below) Bake at 350 degees for 45-50 minutes; cool completely. Makes 2 dozen servings.

Topping:

1 T. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
2 1/2 T. butter, softened
3/4 c. chopped nuts
2/3 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix flour, brown sugar and butter together; stir in nuts and chocolate chips, mixing well.
