Why don't you try spinich balls. After you make them you put them on a cookie sheet and freeze. Than a put them in a big bag in the freezer and just count out how many I need, throw them in the oven, and serve. It's great for unexpected guests!

Thanks for the suggestion Tiger. Only problem is I'm the only one in our family who will eat spinach. The result is that I eat the whole thing! I do like the idea though, they sound like the kind of idea I'm looking for.

I saw a cooking show that made some appetizer bars with zuchinni and sausage. What I liked about the recipe is you can bake them ahead of time, cut into bars, refirgerate and then just warm in micro before serving. Wouldn't that be nice when there is a house full of people? I can't find a similar recipe. Can you help? Would also be interested any other appetizer recipes that fit the criteria--can make ahead and easy to assemble the day of the party. Thanks.
