This is my favorite banana bread/cake. I would like to make loaves of it for gifts. Has anyone ever done this? It is usually cooked in a bundt pan. Does it divide evenly, do I change the cooking temperature or time? Any hints are appreciated.

I don't know a recipe for rum-glazed banana cake, but there is a CL recipe for Jamaican Banana Bread, that has dark rum and lime juice in it, and it is WONDERFUL and unusual enough to make great gifts. If you don't have that one, I'd be happy to type it in for you.

Thanks Melinda. I do have that one as well and may make it, if I can't figure out the answer to this question.

Hi

The Jamaican Banana Bread is YUMMMMM!
Kind of a piddly recipe but worth it.
Don't leave off the topping, it makes it.

Laura:
I was going through my gadgets and found my mini (has 6 bundt cakes)Bundt pan bakeware. I remembered your post and you could change your recipe to this 6 budt cakes, drizzle the glaze and use the color cellophane paper to wrap. They will look so pretty.
