Hi all - I am new to the world of stainless steel appliances. How do you keep them clean? I saw these 3M cloths on an old thread. Do they work? Anything else out there to use that doesn't require a polish?

I used to have a metal polish product that I used. But, I only used it about once. I think the 3-M cloth is for preventing tarnish on silver, but I could be wrong.
There are a number of things you could try. Baking soda and water made into a paste and rubbed on and rinsed off. If the mess is greasy you can try making a paste of cream of tartar and vinegar and try cleaning the same way.
After you get it clean consider using car wax on it. I use this on my stainless steel sink and taps. I haven't thought about using it on stainless steel appliances, but I think it would work great and be easy to clean up.
