We have begun a supper club in the SE Denver area (close to DTC, Denver and Aurora) and are looking for new members. We have had 2 meetings already and have had a great time! Please let me know if you are interested.

I know I'm responding almost a year after the fact, but I just came upon this site. I'm looking for a supper club in the Denver area and live around Yale and I-25. If you're still looking for new members, please let me know. Thanks!

Hi,
I live in Evergreen, but would like to join a Super Club. Let me know when your group meets and a little about what kind of people are in the group. I am willing to drive to Southeast Denver if the group meets on weekends. It would be hard on a week night. I look forward to hearing back from you. Diane

I am interested in joining the club if you're still looking for new individuals. I live in the northeast metro area but like DianeG am available on weekends to drive to the southern regions. I look forward to hearing from the group.

Since there are at least three of us looking to join a supper club in the Denver metro area, perhaps we could start our own? We could do another post soliciting members and see if we get more interest. Let me know what you think. I too would prefer to meet on a weekend night.

3 people sounds like a good start to me. If each person makes a dish that's at least an appetizer or salad, main dish, and dessert course. :-) We should arrange a time to speak on the phone to discuss ideas, possible menus and dates.

I am in South Denver and would like to join a supper club. Weekends are best. My spouse is interested, as well.

Since we now have 4-5 (JenCG + spouse, Marianna, DianeG, and myself)interested maybe we could meet to decide how often we want to meet, where, what we'd like to make for the first dinner, etc? Sounds like we've got people from Evergreen, NE Denver, and South Denver. What would be a good location for everyone?

I also live in Evergreen and my husband and I would be interested in participating in a cooking club. Anytime works well for us.

How does this weekend look for everyone as far as meeting for the first time? Since we're all spread out over the city it seems that downtown Denver may be a central location. What about meeting at a coffee shop downtown sometime on Saturday, late morning or early afternoon?

Saturday evening or Sunday would work better for me - I'll be out of town until Sat. afternoon. Downtown would work well. I'll keep checking the posts to see when and where!

I have a mandatory training to attend on Saturday, so Sunday would be better for me also. Downtown is fine with me. There's a Starbucks on the corner of 16th and California and also in Writer Square facing Lawrence street. There's also the Market on Larimer. I'll check back to see what the consensus is. Glad we're doing this!

Hope there is room for one more. Anne pointed me this direction saying you were looking to start a club. I live in NW Denver, enjoy cooking and getting to know new people. Getting together Sunday 11/2 sounds fine with me and downtown is no problem.

Does 10:30 or 11:00 a.m. on Sunday morning work for everyone? (I already have an event scheduled at 2:00 p.m. that day.) The Market on Larimer Square sounds good because it's the one and only. Selecting one of the myriad of downtown Starbucks could create confusion.

11am on Sunday at the Market would work great for me. Since it's hard to tell how many people we have interested in this, should we post another thread about our initial meeting time/place?

Anne- do you still want to plan on meeting on Sunday morning in the event LynnT and/or Mary do not post replies?

That's fine with me if it is okay with you. I'll post a new thread so that if anyone else is interested they can see it. Otherwise, 11 at the Market on Sunday? I don't check email past Friday afternoons, so if something changes for you or you decide you'd rather just talk on the phone or whatever, call my cell at 720-260-3526.

Sorry I didn't respond quickly. I would love to meet on Sunday. 11 AM at the market sounds fine with me. I just need the address. I haven't been to Larimer Square in a long time and I don't remember a place called The Market.

No problem Mary. I'm glad we have 3 now at least. The Market's address is 1445 Larimer Street, Denver, 80202. Phone is 303-534-5140.
It's just a little south of the intersection of 15th and Larimer. There's usually a lot of motorcycles parked out front and it's on the right side of Larimer if you're facing south. See you there!

Hi guys
Sorry I haven't responded--I definitely have not gotten all of your posts!!! Just to let you know-my group was very small (2 members-with a couple of floating members) and didn't really take off. I have been contacted by a chef who wants to join, but he works nights. However, he would be willing to host on the nights that he has off. (and, it sounds like, cook us something very special). I am going out of town this weekend, but am interested in hooking up with you guys at a later time. Can I be involved too? And, can the chef (his name is Ted) be involved? Let me know.

I have no problem with you and Ted joining us. Since we're a small group right now it will probably be good to get as many people as is manageable at the start in case people drop out. Maybe you can contact us when you're back in town and we'll let you know if we've decided on a first meeting? Feel free to email me at anneguarnera@hotmail.com if you'd like.

Hi! Sorry I took so long to reply - I was without computer access. Anyhow, I'll be there tomorrow morning at the Market. See everyone then!
