Nigella??

was shopping at costco yesterday and saw her book, nigella bites. I searched the BB and there are lots of threads but where is she on TV? I would like to take a look at her show before maybe buying a book but I don't see her listed on foodtv.

She's actually on the "Style" network, which I don't believe is as widely carried as HGTV or the Food network. Her shows are great, though, if you can find them.

We have digital cable, and she's on the STYLE channel here. It's on once or twice a week. I believe though, that STYLE is an E! affiliate of some kind.

Her shows are primarily on the style network, with fewer of the shows on E.

She is also on the Food Network on Sat mornings. I'm thinking 9:30 Pacific Time??

This has not been simple. the newspaper lists most of the E! network( which I do get) as " paid programming". Not very helpful unless you watch 24 hours a day to see what might be on. I will check with the cable & see if there is a web site that lists detail. swquilts, I did not know she is on the food network. I watch that regularly but have never run across her. will look at their website & see if she is listed. this saturday I was off hiking & didn't tune in.

Thanks, grace! I get E! but am not sure about style. it said friday 8:00am but no where that I could see mentioned what time zone. I know foodtv is EST.

The Barefoot Contessa is Ina Garten, not Nigella - I checked the site too, and I guess Nigella isn't on the Food network anymore? I think she used to be. Anyhow, I think the Style network and E! schedule times are Eastern. I hope you have Style, because she's on all the time there. I also hope she is taping a new series of shows, because I've seen all the current ones 10 times, and I'm itching for new stuff! :D

thanks, grace. I never saw nigella on foodtv but they do rotate people through! too bad mario & emeril don't rotate. I do not get style, its only digital cable & I have basic. so it looks like I'll try friday at 8 -11 .

I have all of Nigella Lawson's cookbooks and they are excellent. I have made most of the recipes in Nigella Bites - almost every one was fantastic. The show is great too - female equivalent to The Naked Chef. Nigella is on Food Network in Canada and on Style in the US. I really miss it as it isn't aired in Germany. Got a set of her season 1 DVD for Christmas though. :)

I just received my copy of Nigella's Forever Summer from Amazon UK -- it's not out here in the US yet. There are a lot of great looking recipes, although it will take a few minutes for me to do the metric conversions on them.

I'm sure I read in another thread that the metric conversions in at least one of her books was not done carefully. I may look into the DVD though. I need stuff to watch when I'm exercising and food things are always good. Makes you look forward to rewarding yourself for your good work.

she has a new show in the UK and Canada called Forever Summer (someone mentioned getting her cookbook, which is being pub. in the US in April) - so I too am hoping that this new show makes its way to style!!!
