The supermarket had a sale on day-old onion bagels, so I couldn't pass them up. Does anyone have a method to make bagel chips out of them that isn't loaded with oil, yet people will still eat?

I make bagel chips all the time. I just slice them thinly with a bread knife, lay them in a single layer on a cookie sheet, and toast them in the oven until dried out and slightly colored. I usually bake them at 350 degrees and check them often. I do not add any fat or cooking sprays.
