After reading all of the posts about Trader Joes recently, I had to get to one. Found one not TOO far from my home and office, and I must say, it was worth the trip! I got some of the pot stickers that everyone raves about (can't wait to try them!), some frozen berries to make smoothies, some nuts for snacking and baking, on and on. What a great find that was -- thanks to all for the posts that inspired me!!

I went for the first time last weekend as well. I got two calzones (chicken and prosciutto and portobellp mushroom), huge bag of stir fry, chicken enchiladas, ratatouille sauce, polenta, and echinacea. I did find the rpices to be cheaper, and the quality of the frzen foods I got was excellent! Sometimes I just want to pull something out of the freezer and cook it, but most convenience foods are so high fat and bad for you (and don't even taste good). I am going back this weekend to replenish!

When I lived in So. CA I LOVED Trader Joe's. Then I moved to Jackson Hole, and the closest was likely 5 hours away (I don't love it that much http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif.) Now I live in Colorado Springs and am thinking there might be one between here and Denver. Do they have a web page that has directory? I could probably look this up myself but thought some one might know off the top of their head. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

Laura: I looked on their site (www.traderjoes.com). Sad to say, no TJ's in Colorado. They do have many in Arizona (don't know how far you are from the border)Here is the page that lists where their stores are all over the country.

Jodi,

You should try serving the potstickers with the soy sesame dipping sauce from the recipe finder. Yummy!

http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/frown.gif It's just not fair. We moved here so my fiance could coach Division 1. We live in a city of 500,000 people. Am I really asking for all that much? Thanks everyone for checking. I have been up to my elbows dipping various concoctions into chocolate today.
