I'm trying to get rid of my case of the past 10 or more years of Cooking Light magazines by buying some of the Annual recipe books on EBay. However, I've found that not all years include ALL of the previous years magazine recipes. Can anyone confirm what years have the entire magazine recipe content for the previous year? Don't want to trade magazines for cookbooks, only to find out that I've lost many of the recipes.

Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the boards! I noticed it was your first post and question for everyone, so I though I'd say hello.

I received the Annual Cooking Light Cookbook as a gift for Christmas of 2001 (not this past Christmas, the one before it). It's the one with a slice of cake on the front, and even though I don't own any other of the books (I know... I probably will eventually) I'm fairly certain it has all the recipes. I know I love it.

Good luck with your (large, but) very fundamental ;) purchase!

Take care,
Kayla

The first Annual Cookbook to contain all of the CL recipes for the previous year was the 1997. Stated differently, the CL Annual 1997 Cookbook has all of the recipes from 1996. Therefore, if you buy that cookbook and all other Annual Cookbooks from then on, you will have all of the recipes in the CL magazines from 1996 to the present. The latest Annual Cookbook is 2003 and it has all recipes from the 2002 issues. Don't know why they decided to give the title the year ahead...

Hope that helps, and welcome to the bulletin board!

Peggy
