I'm trying to reach as many people as quickly as I can even though this is more of a tech support issue.
I'm trying to get my aparment pictures in place where everyone can see them.
I've started an imagestation account.
Now, I want to get my pictures from my web based email to imagestation so y'all can see them.
How exactly do I get from here to there????
Thanks!!!

You will probably have to save the pics to your hard drive first. Then, from imagestation, choose upload and point to where you saved the pics. I can't recall if you'll have to do this once per pic, or if you can upload the pics in batch mode.
Does that make sense?
If not, you can email them to me and tonight or tomorrow, I can upload them to imagestation for you.

Jen, THANK YOU!! You will be my last resort if I can't do this. I kind of figured I'd have to save them to my hard drive...problem is, what do I save them as? When I chose save as, it had it a htm or html type. Will that work? I thought it had to be a .jpg image...
I suppose I can try it..I can always delete it!

Erin,
You do need to save them a .jpg files. I'm not sure why your system it trying to make them html files. Try right clicking and selecting "save image as".

I did save it as a .jpg once I figured out what I was doing wrong (duh, don't open the image, stupid ) so I saved one picture with a .jpg. Tried to upload it onto imagestation and it's telling me that the picture is an invalid file type????

Yeah, what Leigh said.
What sort of email program are you using? Outlook? Netscape? Is the picture in the body of the email or saved as an attachment? Either way, Leigh's suggestion will work.

Hmmm...not sure why that would happen.
I haven't used imagestation in a while, but I know it allows .jpg files. Don't take this wrong, but are you sure you saved it as a .jpg (as in no typos or anything)?

Erin,
I had that happen to me once when I was trying to upload .jpg files. I don't think I ever got them uploaded, but it has been a while. Do you have access to any type of image software? Something must be screwy with your file.

Well, I can add the .jpg on the end, but under "save as file type" It will only allow me to choose "all files" or "HTML document"
As for email program, I can either use my school account, a web based lotus notes or hotmail.

That's what I don't understand. It's like it's not differentiating between the individual pictures as attachments and the email as a whole, which is probably html enabled email.
And I'm not familiar w/ any of your email types. Well, I did use Lotus notes once, but it's been a while ago.
Maybe some techie can help.

I will also offer my webserver to post the pics.. Just forward me the emails and I can take care of the rest. Let me know.

AZAnne:
Thanks! I'll forward both the pictures from both my school account and my hotmail account. My school account has them as attachments, but the images can be viewed in the body of the email in the hotmail account. I appreciate it SO MUCH!!!!
Erin
Jen...thank you again for your kind offer. Since you're not familiar with my email types maybe it'll be easier for AZAnne.
