I did a quick search and didn't see a review on these, so here goes!
I made these last night for dinner and we loved them. I must confess that I used up a pound of frozen flounder for the fish in the recipe. I'm sure it was due to the frozen fish, that the balls were goopy until I cooked them, so they were more like fat ovals, than balls. The flavor was very good, fairly mild without the chili sauce. My children (5 and 7) ate them without batting an eye--a remarkable event from the 5 y.o.! I will definitely make these again, using fresh fish. I thought they were very easy. I made the balls ahead of time and refrigerated them till dinnertime.
I would like some ideas on side dishes to go with them. I know this recipe was listed in the index as an appetizer, but I served it as the entree. I fixed brown rice and broccoli and kiwi for the rest of the meal, but I know there must be something better than plain rice to go along with it. Any suggestions? Thanks!
