I just picked up a 7" All-Clad skillet for $14.95 (75% off!) at the Friday Sale at Amazon. They also have a 1 quart saucepan for the same price, which I would have bought if it came with a lid...

Lisas3575 - I bought the 1-quart saucepan another time it was a special purchase. Even though it didn't have a lid, the lids from the 2- and 3-quart saucepans fit it.
All Clad - gotta love it!!

Yeah, but I don't own those, so I would have to buy them to get the lid... and then what if I wanted to use them both at the same time?!? How would I choose which pot got the one lid? It's just way too stressful. ;) :p
This is actually my first All-Clad purchase. I'm really excited to be able to try it out for such a steal! I'm afraid I'll be hooked.

Thank you. I didn't think the Outlet stuff was Friday-only.

I might pick up a Calphalon pan, but is hard-anodized the same as non-stick? My mother killed my saute pan by leaving it on the burner with nothing in it!!

Is 7 inches a size ya'll use very often? I have one that is that size, and I think I have only used it for toasting nuts on the stovetop, or the odd chicken breast just for me. What else would you use it for? It seems awfully small...

I thought the same thing too, Rebecca. I'm going to hold out for a 10" or 12" beauty.... :D

Thanks for the post, Lisa, I checked it out and ordered the caphalon 12 inch everyday pan with cover. It was $29.99 with free postage. My daughter has one and uses it all the time.

Bumping this up because they are offered again today in the Friday sale. I've been amazed at how often I use that tiny little skillet. It's great for toasting nuts and making grilled cheese (which we eat quite often  ). I find I have it out at least once a week!
