Just wanted to pass on my christmas eve am idea for using sausage balls leftover from get together the night before. I crumbled them and used them for the crust for a egg casserole. I make mine with bisquick, cheese, sausage and dates, but I assume it would work with most recipes. Once I made the crust, I just put on top some minced onion, red peppers, etc, a couple more crumbled s.balls on top and poured the egg/milk mixture on top. My family gobbled it up.
