We've made this CL recipe several times. Its both good and very quick. I don't know which year it was originally published, but is in the Complete CL book.

I loved this too. I remember trying it maybe last year after eating Cajun Shrimp at a restaurant. I believe I made a garlic sauce to go with it - trying to replicate what I had in the restaurant.

Thanks for the reminder. Will have to pull this recipe out again soon!

Thanks for posting this! I feel like I've been eating *so* much poultry because it's easy, but shrimp would be a great switch up. I wonder if you could sub lump-crab meat in this recipe as well... That might be good with steamed brown rice ... kinda like a jambalaya.

How did you make the garlic sauce? Could you post please.

Thanks for calling attention to this recipe! We had Cajun Shrimp for dinner Saturday night with couscous and roasted summer squash. This is a great "quickie" recipe and one we'll add to the rotation for sure. It would also make a good appetizer or salad-topping.

I'm sorry Leisa, I didn't see your request. It's been a while since you asked. Luckily, I just came across it as I'm thinking of making this dish tomorrow.

I honestly don't recall how I made the sauce. If everything goes to plan and I make it tomorrow, with the sauce, I'll post whatever I do. Assuming it's a success of course! :p

Please do! I made this for the first time a few weeks ago and DH commented that it had a great taste but "was dry" and "it needs a sauce". I'd love to make it again, with some kind of sauce, so please do post yours! :)

Well I'm getting all creative and making one today. I have a good feeling about it but I'll report back.

What did you serve with the Cajun Shrimp? I'm still debating. I'm trying to use up veggies so need to get rid of some mushrooms and peppers.

Sorry, YP, I am absolutely no help. We had the shrimp with pasta tossed with butter and garlic, a salad and bread. VERY boring! :D

Don't worry GrinsandGiggles, I'll figure something out. I'm thinking maybe cornbread with veggies, we'll see.

I made this for dinner last night with some "cheat" foods (boxed mashed potatoes and a can of sweet green peas)... the shrimp literally took about 5 minutes to prep and cook. I used the pre-cooked, tail-off shrimp from Trader Joe's which I am sure saved some additional time. For a quick weeknight meal, this was AMAZING... great seasonings and even my two DS's loved it.

This one will be repeated frequently in our house! :D
