Do any of you have a great crockpot chili recipe? My mom went away for the summer, and took my crockpot recipe book with her, and it has my favorite chili recipe in it. She is going to email me the recipe, but I plan on making the chili tomorrow. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dianne

I made the All American Chili from CL in my crockpot and it turned out great! I think pretty much any chili recipe can be made in a crockpot. I would just brown the meat, onions, and garlic in a skillet and then toss them with the other ingredients into the crockpot for a few hours to let the flavors meld together.

Heere is the crock recipe that I use-from Rival. Hope I can type fast enough.
1/2 lb. dry pinto or kidney beans- I use 2 cans[14oz] of spicy chili beans
2- 141/2 oz cans diced tomatoes
2lbs. ground beef-browned and drained
2 onions coarsely chopped
1 green pepper coarsely chopped-I don't use
2cloves garlic-I use more
2-3 tbls. of chili powder
1 tsp. pepper
1tsp. cumin
salt to taste
Put all ingredients in crockpot in order listed.Stir once, cover and cook on low 10-12 hrs., or high 5-6 hrs.
