Richmond Supper Club

I live in the West End. Is there a supper club already in progress?

Hi, I don't know if there's an active club right now in Richmond, but I've been part of a couple of groups in the past that ended up falling apart after awhile for various reasons. I'd love to help get one going again. I live in the Museum District, so the West End is handy enough. Let's keep this thread going and see if we get any more takers. Do you know what you are looking for in a club?

My two roomies and I are moving into a (new to us) house this June, and we might be interested in getting involved. I'd have to clear it with them.

This would be my first supper club endevour. My only request would be to meet on the weekend so I'd have time to prepare something and my husband could attend.

Weekends are best usually for me as well. One group that I was part of met on Sunday afternoons or early evenings and that seemed to work pretty well, although I am open to other things as well. During the summer it was often tough to get people together on a weekend.

Were you thinking more of a potluck type arrangement or a group all cooking together at the same time? Does you husband like to cook as well? Do you enjoy wine with your meals?

We have small kids, so we don't go away very often...Either Sat or Sun would be fine...Late afternoon/early evening would be best...and yes, i was thinking of pot luck. That could still mean finishing off a dish if necessary at someone home, but otherwise, I think it's simpler if it was pot luck style. Have you had any other "bites" for our club?

No club has formed yet. I am still interested. Have you been in one before?

I would love to join a supper club. My husband and I live in the Fan and love to cook. I would be willing to help organize the club if necessary.
