We just had this soup as a soup/salad meal and it was absolutely delicious. It was very filling (because of the meatballs) and fairly easy to make (once you had the veggies chopped).It will definitely be a repeater.

Did you make this soup when they had a different recipe a few months ago? How does it differ?

I didn't make the previous version of the soup(Oct 190). It had ground round instead of ground turkey for the meatballs, and the soup had some chiles, and salsa in it. It also had avocado and tortilla strips on top. I think the chiles would also be good in the low fat version but it doesn't need anything on top since it is very hearty already.

Thanks for the feedback. Haven't gotten the J/F 2001 issue yet, but looking forward to making this when it arrives.

Well, I regret to report that we weren't too impressed. The meatballs were good, but the rest of the soup was rather tasteless. Gave it a 3 on the "Rate the Recipes" page.
