Email Notification NOT Working

The email notification was working just fine for me up until about two days ago. Suddenly I'm no longer being sent the email notifications showing that someone replied. Is this broke or is it something on my end (perhaps Earthlink (my ISP) suddenly feels it is spam and is blocking it)? I haven't adjusted any "spam" settings with my ISP though. Things should be working the same as they were last week as far as that goes.

Considering I started getting the 403 error messages when trying to come to the message boards at the same time, I'm thinking they could be related problems though. (i.e. perhaps the server that contains these message board threads also sends out the email notifications, and there is a glitch in the server somewhere?)

I've noticed problems over the last couple of days too - I get some notifications, but definitely not for all the threads.

Amusingly (kind of), amongst those not working, I'm not getting notifications for tech problem threads!

Funny, I just now got the notification that you replied to me here, Paula. Weird! It has a time stamp of several hours ago though. I got one other email notification for a thread over in the Great Food area. It, too, was SEVERAL hours late.

Those are the only two notifications I've received, even though I am still expecting a couple more. I wonder if they'll ever come? I think the server has some air bubbles it needs to work out. :p

You all are not alone! I haven't gotten e-mail notification of PMs, and as I've sent a couple & gotten no responses, I'd guess it's a system-wide issue.

I don't have e-mail notification, but maybe this problem is related to the "Error 403" issues others have had when linking to this board (denied access).

I hope it gets cleared up soon, but I know JenniferCL is looking into it.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who hasn't been notified about updates on subscribed threads.

I want to assume that there's a bug in the system at Cooking Light and not that Earthlink is blocking (and I haven't received any notifications of messages being blocked).

I'm not receiving email notifications either. If anyone has a moment and can respond to this, I'd appreciate it. I'll be curious to see if I receive an email.

its not just you. I only occassionaly get email notfications now. Even funnier...I don't even get them for threads I create.

I've been getting the notifications lately, even for this thread that I started.

Well..I have multiple threads that I have started or posted to and its a crap shoot if I get notification or not....
