cooking school update

Well, as some of you may remember I started cooking school in June at NECI. I am no longer there. I stayed for the first 2 days of orientation and decided it was not the place for me. It would have been great if I was still 19, single, and didn't have tons of other interests but, as it stands that is not the situation. Plus, Vermont is COLD!!! I'm sooo a Florida girl. I had a great time while I was there and am soooo glad that I got to go and see it wasn't for me. But, I'm very happy to be back home. My boyfriend and I have decided to go ahead and start our own business (something we've been considering for a while) - and it's going great so far. Anyway, just thought I'd update you... :)

What a wonderful thing to be able to figure out what you love and what you'll want to do.
Food service is a hard line of work and not everyone gets the bonuses that Wolfgang Puck or Emeril enjoy. So, it's great that you have been able to test the waters and make an informed decision. You'll never have to wonder "what if..." and feel cheated about it.
