Can I hand wash a cashmere sweater?

Certainly you can.

Use woollite (follow the directions), don't use hot water, go slowly and gently, and dry the sweater flat. Do NOT wring it, but press it dry in a towel.

I tried to do a google search for directions for you, but Google appears to be down.
